The analysis for, "I Like the Internet and the Internet Likes Me", because something keeps messing up in the description and deleted some parts of my analysis.

Project from class, Web Media in which we pick a conceptual artist and choose to update/re-interpret their own piece.
Joseph Beuys was a conceptual artist and in 1974 he performed his piece, "I Like America and America Likes Me" in where he spent 8 hours of 3 days in a room with a wild coyote with a shepherd's staff and a sheet wrapped around him.

Reinterpretation- This piece updates and mostly parodies Beuys's performance of, "I Like America and America Likes Me". While Beuys's piece was about the conflict of nature and man, today's world is found mostly on the internet. I used flash to put my viewers in the room with my chosen internet subject, a lolcat. Lolcats are a humorous and well known internet meme, so in a sense they can be seen as a representation of the internet much like how the coyote in Beuys's piece was the spiritual representation of America. Somewhat similar to a virtual or digital pet that someone can take care of, the viewer can interact with the lolcat and see how it will react.
Process- First I started with the piece I chose and searched youtube for the actual video of Beuys's performance.

After deciding how I wanted to present the piece and in choosing my subject of the lolcat, I used google to try and find well known lolcat images to present as items and reactions for my interactive lolcat. I also visited icanhascheezeburger.com, which is the actual blog that updates with the funny lolcat images.
Medium- I chose flash because I wanted to allow people to be able to interact with the lolcat and put them in the place of Joseph Beuys like when he was in the room with the coyote. Flash is also a widely used program on the internet, so it helps to stress the piece's relation to the web.
Message- While the purpose of the piece is to update Beuys's, the piece mostly parodies his, so the message I intended for people to see isn't as deep as what Beuys teaches through his own work. Joseph Beuys spent 8 hours of 3 days in a room with a wild coyote, which was the spiritual representation of America. When settlers came to America, coyotes were seen as pests and wProxy-Connection: keep-alive

e demonized, killed off by settlers as humans moved further into their territories. In contrast, Native Americans revere the coyote as an important spiritual figure, a trickster or one who teaches lessons to prideful individuals, not necessarily evil. His time spent with the coyote was his way of getting America to forgive man for their actions. What fascinates me is that while settlers viewed the coyote as evil and something to be exterminated, Joseph Beuys spent 3 days with a wild coyote that interacted with him in a friendly way. At the end the coyote had even grown so used to him that Beuys was able to hug him.

Free Wolf Art Requests(Closed)
I'd like to see if I can still draw wolves(it's practically been years), and I need some practice, but I don't have any of my own wolf characters that I like anymore, lol. So I'm taking a few free requests, so link your wolf character sheets/images and what not for a chance. I will probably only do three or so, but I'll pick which characters I like the look of or vibe with(so it's not first-come-first-serve), so feel free to keep posting even if there are a few peeps already. Most may be sketches, but I may fully color one, but don't have high expectations for a fully colored art piece. xD
Hiring Programmer for New Wolf Maker
Long story short, I gave up trying to program for myself. Too much going on in my life to devote to learning a new language. Also, hi! Hello! Long time no see after I dropped off the face of deviantart! Anyways, I've never forgotten about maker games but now I'd rather toss money at someone else more skilled than myself to handle the coding side. I would be looking on sites like fiverr and such, but I figured I'd give a shout out here to see if any of you guys would be interested first. Or maybe you've got a cousin that needs some extra cash, let me know or send them my way. Just message me here, and we can exchange emails if you'd prefer. As far as payment goes, I currently have a budget of three hundred US to dump on this, maybe more depending on how much the modules or features I'd like to have will cost. We can discuss fair pricing in detail should you be interested in the job. If you're interested and are not available at this time, but will be at a later date, please feel free
Wolf Maker Download! Old Flash Games Are Saved!
The internet hath provideth! I knew people would come through for saving old Flash games! The good, intelligent and kind people of the internet have come through for us all and created a way to save all the old flash games of your childhoods: https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/downloads/ Or this, which allows you to run Flash games in your browser: https://ruffle.rs/ For Flashpoint, just download Flashpoint Infinity 9.0(or whichever, based on your preferences, but Flashpoint Infinity is just the casual gamer one). Your computer may detect it as a virus(mine did), but this is a false positive. I have downloaded it myself, no problems. Once you run the Flashpoint program, just type 'Wyndbain' into the search bar and press enter. All of my games are already there! You only need an internet connection the first time you play(so it can download the game). After that, you can play all of my maker games offline! They even have my April Fools game and those horrid test games I made when
Updates and Wolf Maker is 10 Years Old!?
Hey, hey! I've been quiet on this site, mostly because I don't really like deviant art anymore, and because I've been spending most of my free time writing rather than drawing. I also stopped uploading my fanfic here because... I absolutely haaaaaate dA's system for literature. D:< 'So what's up with the game progress?' you may ask. It's going a bit slow, as I was prioritizing my writing over learning programming, but now that my main fanfic is coming to a close(on AO3, if anyone is interested), I'm getting more into the javascript lessons. Also, I first uploaded Wolf Maker on Sept. 15th, 2010... TEN YEARS AGO!? Lots of folks have told me that this game was a part of their childhoods, and booooy, it's amazing and awesome and I appreciate you all so much and I'm glad I made something that you've enjoyed as a kid and just so much more mushy sentiments that I can't form into words. I wish I could say I have something to surprise you all with for the Wolf Maker's tenth anniversary, but
